Gilpin Transportation Consulting, LLC. was founded in 2023 to be a provider of expertise in the field of Complete Streets design. Owner Joe Gilpin has worked in the planning and design disciplines for over 20 years with a specific focus on providing more livable, equitable, and accessible active transportation choices for communities across the country. Joe has helped pioneer contemporary complete streets design through contributions to national design guidance through work with NACTO and FHWA as well as contributions to ITE, and multiple NCHRP and TRB research projects.
